Author: Chua Wen Kiat
Since the release of Ubuntu Linux 4.10, a.k.a. Warty Warthog on October 20th, 2004, many projects were initiated by Canonical Ltd. and the community for Ubuntu Linux. Amongst all the initiated projects, http://ubuntuguide.org was targeted for users who are new to Ubuntu Linux. The guide is a collection of HOWTOs and FAQs which is easy to read.
The guide has been written in a straightforward manner to allow users to intuitively grasp the knowledge to configure their Linux Desktop, and to set up some basic Server services. While using the Ubuntu Linux which can be downloaded here, or get it for FREE here, the guide will complement your day to day usage of Ubuntu Linux.
You may find additional documentations at Ubuntu Documentation and Wiki.
You may also find help at the Ubuntu Forum or Ubuntu IRC channel. You will find that the Ubuntu Community are generally friendly people.
Kudos to the Ubuntu Linux Team. May the "humanity to others" spirit be with you always...
